Sam McElhinney

Senior Account Manager
Sam began his career at Google in the medium business division before moving up to work as an Account Manager and later Senior Account Manager on Google's large financial services brands. At Google, Sam creates integrated marketing strategies for brands, leveraging the Google search and display networks, YouTube and social media. By collecting and analyzing “big data” from the digital world, he helps clients identify what consumers value in their brand. Sam then collaborates with clients to craft digital marketing strategies that highlight their brand equity, distinguish them from competitors and improve customer loyalty.

Sam was nominated for and selected to be part of MITX’s 2013 Future Leaders Group,
identifying Sam as a rising star in the Massachusetts digital marketing community. Currently, he
is co-chair of the Boston arm of Google for Nonprofits, organizing workshops to teach local
nonprofits how to improve their advertising by using free Google tools. Sam received a B.A. from
Dartmouth College with a certificate of distinction in Sociology.
