Neil Hirsch, APR is an award-winning strategic communicator with more than twelve years of experience in corporate and agency public relations across a number of industries focusing on professional, consumer, internal and business-to-business communications. Neil currently serves as Manager of Global External Communications for Novelis, the world leader in aluminum rolling and recycling, with responsibility for corporate media relations, executive visibility, social media and crisis communications and serves as a company spokesperson.

Prior to joining Novelis is 2011, Neil led the U.S. communications function for Solvay Pharmaceuticals for six years. He began his career working for Cookerly Public Relations and later worked for Ford Motor Company in its Southeast Region communications office in Atlanta.

A public relations graduate of the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, Neil now serves on its advertising and public relations Executive Council. Neil also received his Accreditation in Public Relations and currently serves as the President of the Public Relations Society of America, Georgia Chapter, the country’s second-largest chapter.
