Diane DeSeta is an award winning User Experience Strategist with over 15 years experience helping fortune 500 clients define customers needs and transforming them into intuitive and delightful interactive experiences. She has overseen and managed interdisciplinary teams through research, strategy development, concept, product definition, and design. Diane is involved in several volunteer initiatives including founding the UX Mentors organization, teaching technology classes at Sandy Springs Middle School to 6th, 7th & 8th graders, and ongoing design consultation for Peace Corps. She has a passion for sharing her knowledge and skills with others and often contributes her time to civic hacking events. She speaks regularly about UX for local professional organizations and teaches UX classes through General Assembly. In addition you can find Diane every week at Atlanta Tech Village mentoring startups on how to incorporate UX in their businesses. Accomplishments include: winning an adobe site of the day, 1st prize winner of National Civic Day of Hacking Atlanta, as well as several AiMA's (Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association). I have held the programming chair for Social Media Club Atlanta and CHI*A (Computer Human Interaction SIG) in Atlanta.
