Director of Programs
As the Director of Programs for CFY-Atlanta, Courtney manages CFY’s Digital Learning Program with all of CFY-Atlanta’s partner schools. Prior to joining CFY, Courtney was the Executive Director of Casa de Amistad, an organization that provides education and social services to the Latino Community in Athens, GA to empower the Latino community and provide opportunities for cross-cultural exchange. Previously, Courtney was the School-Based Services Program Manager for Catholic Charities in Oregon for three years, where she oversaw the Schools Uniting Neighborhoods community school programs; academic achievement and case management services; and wraparound mental health services. She began her career as an English as a Second Language Teacher for elementary and middle school students in North Carolina. Courtney has participated in both the Ladder to Leadership Fellowship with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Education Policy Fellowship Program with the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education. She earned both her B.A. in English and her Masters of Social Work from the University of Georgia.
